6 Jan 2019: Tours, exposure and explorations have been an integral part of the curriculum at KDBC. The students of BBA reached Pokhara on the 4th of January 2019. They were under the supervision of the Program Officer, Mr. Nilesh Shrestha.  In Pokhara, the students particularly visited Fewa Lake and Begnas Lake on the lap of Himalayas. Pokhara is a god-gifted city in terms of natural beauty. On the first day, it was a great opportunity for the students to explore International Mountain Museum where they got to see artifacts related to trekking, various cultures, and past history of mountaineering in Nepal. On the second day, the group enjoyed a visit to World Peace Pagoda followed by Phewa Lake boating and leisure.

The next day the tour concluded with sightseeing at Begnas Lake. For all, this three-day stay in Pokhara was more than enough to enjoy the beauty of nature. Such a tour is a great way for bachelor level students to learn about group adjustment and sharing. This also helped them to gain insight into Nepal’s leading tourism industry and understand the regional cultural differences.
