Unique experience of Visiting Chulalongkorn University and Thailand

MBA and EMBA students of Kathmandu Don Bosco College along with the officials visited Chulalongkorn University (CU), a public and autonomous research university in Bangkok, Thailand. It is the oldest university in the Thai educational system. The visit also involved a corporate trip to Bangkok Hospital and many other important places in Bangkok and Pattaya.

The visit was a part of calendar activity. The group was of 15 students who were accompanied by the Program Coordinator. Students were briefed about the Metro resort modus operandi in the second day of the visit.

All the students were highly excited while visiting Chulalongkorn University and attending important sessions. The director of international affairs welcomed Chairman, Prof. Dr. S. B. Mathe along with other team and hoped to work together in the future. Dr. Mathe thanked the CU team for welcoming KDBC family in their campus. All the students visited the university premises including different departments. The team was taken to Bangkok Hospital, where they could know more about the institution. It was the biggest hospital in Thailand.

Professor Chakrit Duangppastra took a session on the topic ‘Global Issues & ASEAN and BIMSTEC Connectivity Beyond 2015’ at CU next day. The delivery by Prof. Chakrit was splendid and his session helped in knowing about various international policies. The other session held on the topic ‘Sustainable Marketing’ taken by Dr. Ake Patarathankul was equally fruitful.

Students experienced Thai adventure and culture could it be to Safari World or artistic shows. The dinner at the White Orchid River Cruise was the first experience to many of the students.

On the way to Pattaya, students visited Golden Temple of Buddha where they couldn’t stop themselves from meditating for some period of time. Students explored the floating market and Thai dinner at Pattaya. Along with Coral Island visit, students experienced Paragliding, Banana Riding, Motor Bike Riding and many more. In the evening time to they had the opportunity to watch traditional ALCAZAR show of Thailand.

With good memories and rich experiences of Thailand, students returned to home country.
